No major illnesses or Medical diagnoses and no allergies 4. Started crawling at 6/8 months, sat-up at 6months, walking at 1yr 4months, self fed by 1yr 3months, dressed self at 2yrs, first words at 2yrs, but not yet potty trained 5. No sleeping or breathing issues Patient does get the full 8-10hrs of sleep, does not wake up at night but does talk in sleep, and breathes with mouth open, no enlarged tonsils that I've noticed 6. Does not attend school or daycare 7. No vision or hearing issues 8. One concern is my child being stuck on choosing which language to speak since there is two languages spoken in the household, mainly Spanish and English. A second concern is whether my child can't understand to say the word potty, but does understand how a potty works.

Amelia is diagnosed with a mild to moderate expressive-receptive language disorder. She would benefit from speech therapy targeting the following: identifying common objects, following 1step commands, combining syllables to form words, imitating core vocabulary, and using a total communication approach. Once the office has processed the report, obtained the needed signatures, and insurance approves the report, the treating clinician will reach out to you to schedule your first session.
