The clinician explained she had been reviewing the SOAP note and sending the attendance message. To clarify, clinician showed mother the SOAP on her phone and the message that had been sent. Mother acknowledged this and became emotional, sharing she has been feeling frustrated as the patient is awaiting an autism evaluation. Clinician provided reassurance, and mother chose to wait in the car while the session continued.

Once the office has processed the report, obtained the needed signatures, and insurance approves the report, I will reach out to you to schedule your first session.
