Sol had a frenotomy performed for a lingual and labial tie at 8 months old. Sol has not experienced any ear infections.

Assessment of Goals/Response to Treatment: Sol demonstrated increased body awareness and safety during functional mobility as evidenced by transferring between 4 tasks IND. Sol engaged for 10 minutes continuously to each activity with auditory/physical distractions with no cues for redirection required to demo increased self-regulation skills. Sol engaged in a turn taking activity with in which she initiated turn taking IND to demo increased social reciprocity skills.

We have thermometers in our front lobbies and will be checking for high temperatures as we begin the traditional time of year for an increase in flu, colds, and COVID. Any child or parent with a temperature of 100 degrees and above will be asked to reschedule for another day & time. If you or your child or someone in your home has COVID, we continue to ask that you stay home and quarantine to stop the spread. The CDC urges people sick with symptoms of respiratory viruses to stay home until their fever has disappeared for at least 24 hours without relying on fever-lowering medications. Typically we re-eval about a month before the expiration in case she continues to qualify there won't be a gap ins services. However, I am out of afternoon availability. I could offer her an appointment before school at an 8:00am but I am not sure if that will work for you. I would hate to transfer her to another therapist so we could try and re-evaluate her earlier and see how she does. Do you feel that she would continue to benefit from OT or would you feel comfortable with her progress if she were ready to graduate from OT?
