Zayne's mother voiced concerns that his vocabulary is not large enough. She also stated that Zayne has trouble producing some phonemes such as /d, b/. The language of intervention should be English. Zayne's vocabulary only consists of English words. Zayne watches movies and his mom reads stories to him in English.
Speech Medical History: Zayne was born at 36 weeks via a vaginal delivery. Mother reported that there were no concerns during or after the pregnancy. Zayne had surgery on 03/27/2024 for a testicle that had not descended yet. In October 2021, Zayne had his first set of PE tubes placed. In February 2024, Zayne had a second set of PE tubes placed. He has not had his adenoids or tonsils removed yet.

As always, we at New Beginnings strive to keep our patients, parents, therapists, and staff safe and healthy. We have thermometers in our front lobbies and will be checking for high temperatures as we begin the traditional time of year for an increase in flu, colds, and COVID. Any child or parent with a temperature of 100 degrees and above will be asked to reschedule for another day & time.
If you or your child or someone in your home has COVID, we continue to ask that you stay home and quarantine to stop the spread. The CDC urges people sick with symptoms of respiratory viruses to stay home until their fever has disappeared for at least 24 hours without relying on fever-lowering medications.

Please do not come to therapy if you or your child are experiencing the following symptoms: fever, body aches, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, headache. Your treating therapist would be happy to reschedule your visit for you.

As always, we at New Beginnings strive to keep our patients, parents, therapists, and staff safe and healthy. We have thermometers in our front lobbies and will be checking for high temperatures as we begin the traditional time of year for an increase in flu, colds, and COVID. Any child or parent with a temperature of 100 degrees and above will be asked to reschedule for another day & time.
If you or your child or someone in your home has COVID, we continue to ask that you stay home and quarantine to stop the spread. The CDC urges people sick with symptoms of respiratory viruses to stay home until their fever has disappeared for at least 24 hours without relying on fever-lowering medications.

Please do not come to therapy if you or your child are experiencing the following symptoms: fever, body aches, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, headache. Your treating therapist would be happy to reschedule your visit for you.
