Her mother reported that Jayleen is currently not talking and does not use any words to communicate. A bilingual assessment was conducted to ensure an accurate representation of her communication abilities across both languages. Jayleen was born full-term via cesarean section without any complications during or after birth. Her developmental milestones indicate that she skipped crawling and proceeded to walking independently soon after. Medical history is significant for a geographic tongue and a lip tie; her pediatrician has recommended surgical intervention for the lip tie. Family history includes a nephew diagnosed with autism. I would like to inform you that the clinic will be closed beginning December 24th and will reopen on January 2nd. However, for speech therapy services, I will be out of the clinic for in-person sessions from December 22nd through January 5th.

If any teletherapy speech services become available during this time, I will reach out to parents directly with further details.

Please note that this notice applies only to speech therapy services. Occupational therapy and Physical Therapy schedules may differ depending on provider availability .
