At the time of this assessment, Oakley demonstrates age-appropriate oral-motor and feeding abilities and has made significant progress since his previous evaluation. During the session, Oakley independently consumed strawberries and blueberries with an appropriate chewing pattern. He demonstrated functional munch chewing and emerging rotary chewing, adequate tongue lateralization for bolus manipulation, and effective oral control. Labial seal was appropriate, and minimal to no tongue protrusion was observed. Anterior-posterior tongue movements are now well-coordinated, and overall tongue mobility appears functional for age. There are no current signs of oral-motor restriction impacting feeding. Oakley is eating a wide variety of foods across textures and food groups. His current food inventory consists of over 35 foods, indicating improved dietary expansion and reduced selectivity. He tolerates and accepts age-appropriate solids and is able to self-feed effectively, supporting independence and continued skill development. No aversive behaviors to novel or previously challenging foods were observed during this evaluation. At 14 months of age, Oakley’s feeding skills are consistent with developmental expectations. We would like to inform all patients with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) insurance that insurance benefits reset at the beginning of the new year. This means that all copays, coinsurance amounts, deductibles, and out-of-pocket maximums will reset.
As a result, payments for visits will be charged at the full allowed amount until your deductible is met. Depending on your specific BCBS plan, you may or may not have a deductible.

Below are the allowed amounts that will apply until your deductible is met:
