Due to your child’s age and the high demand for afterschool appointments for our older kiddos, we believe they may be a great candidate for Telehealth services. While we currently do not have afterschool availability in the office, Telehealth could be a great option to get them started with therapy sooner.

We’d be happy to move forward with scheduling an evaluation to see if they qualify for Telehealth services. Please let us know if you’re open to this option, and we can begin the process right away. Thank you!

However, we do offer telehealth therapy as an option, which may allow us to get your child seen more quickly.

Based on your child’s age, we believe they could be a good candidate for telehealth services. Once the evaluation is completed, we’ll be able to determine if telehealth is the best fit for them moving forward.

As always, we at New Beginnings strive to keep our patients, parents, therapists, and staff safe and healthy. We have thermometers in our front lobbies and will be checking for high temperatures as we begin the traditional time of year for an increase in flu, colds, and COVID. Any child or parent with a temperature of 100 degrees and above will be asked to reschedule for another day & time.
If you or your child or someone in your home has COVID, we continue to ask that you stay home and quarantine to stop the spread. The CDC urges people sick with symptoms of respiratory viruses to stay home until their fever has disappeared for at least 24 hours without relying on fever-lowering medications.

Please do not come to therapy if you or your child are experiencing the following symptoms: fever, body aches, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, headache. Your treating therapist would be happy to reschedule your visit for you.

We called the doctors office requesting this information and they said that Josiah needs to be seen by the pediatrician first and then they can send the most recent progress note. I wanted to reach out regarding today’s session — it seems there may have been a communication error on my end. Yesterday, we confirmed Josiah’s new appointment time for today (11/11) at 2:30 p.m. Early this morning around 7:00am I created the visit. Unfortunately, the system didn’t send the automated reminder for today's appointment until it was time to check-in, and I realized I hadn’t followed up with a direct confirmation message after scheduling.Because of that, I completely understand if there was confusion and want to offer a make-up session this Thursday at 2:30 p.m. to stay on track. Moving forward, Josiah’s regular therapy sessions will be scheduled for Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. consistently.
