Mom said she would have patient for the whole month of June and dad will have patient for the whole month of July. Mom and dad don't have very good communication, as per mom's conversation. Therapist will accommodate to mom's schedule for the month of June and go back to dad's schedule in July. Mom said Teletherapy would be best just at a later time. She said she's very busy and that now patient started daycare last week, so we're trying to figure out a day and time that work best. As of right now day and time will be Wednesdays at 2:45pm.
06-11-2025	Patsy Guajardo	Mother arrived at the office at 10:40 AM, stating that she believed her child had a therapy appointment at that time. Upon reviewing the schedule, I confirmed that Juliet has a Telehealth appointment at 12:30 PM with Ms. Janette. Mother indicated she was not aware the session was remote and asked how she could access the link. Per her request, I obtained her phone number to add her to the system. I contacted Father to inform him of the situation and to confirm whether we could add Mother’s phone number to the account. He approved the update and stated that we should have had that information from the beginning. He also agreed to share the Telehealth link with Mother to ensure she could join the session.

We have thermometers in our front lobbies and will be checking for high temperatures as we begin the traditional time of year for an increase in flu, colds, and COVID. Any child or parent with a temperature of 100 degrees and above will be asked to reschedule for another day & time. If you or your child or someone in your home has COVID, we continue to ask that you stay home and quarantine to stop the spread. The CDC urges people sick with symptoms of respiratory viruses to stay home until their fever has disappeared for at least 24 hours without relying on fever-lowering medications. Please do not come to therapy if you or your child are experiencing the following symptoms: fever, body aches, chills, vomiting, diarrhea, headache. We are not using it just yet because Medicaid has a difference process in order for it to be used. We need to have a referral from the primary care doctor and then we send the reports to primary doctor, once we have those signed we send to insurance for authorization. You can also print out worksheet black and white and have her color each word when she says it (if she likes coloring), or you can have her cut each word. She is really struggling with her /z/ sound, so if you can practice even 5-10min every day that would be great. She tends to devoice, which means she will say an /s/ instead of the /z/ sound.
